break in

some douche broke into our house while we were sleeping and pillaged our shit.

we woke up to him rummaging through the office.

apparently, he used a bbgun to shoot the latch on the window and unlock it. then cut the screen.

he crawled into our living room and starting picking things. Our laptops and our ipods.. my phone. he used our own bags and loaded things up.

broke out our car windows. he had my car keys sitting outside. I think he was going to take my car if he got away without us waking up.

Reality Makes a Comeback

We are home from Dragon*Con, have taken the rental car back and are trying to get back to reality.

I have mixed feelings about the trip this year.

It was not as amazing an experience as it has been in the past. I do not think this was because Dragon*Con was less amazing, I think this was because what is going on in my head is very different than it was been in the past.

I am going to spend some time chewing over this and try and decide what it is really about.

Right now, I am just exhausted and hungry. Brain is not fully functional again yet. Happy to be home.
